On Saturday night before we left Sunday morning, Betty and I went with Wade Daniel to a Colorado Eagles ice hockey game against the Manitoba Moose, a Canadian team. They play in the American Hockey League… sort of a minor league to the National Hockey League.
The reason we went is the school choir from Liberty Elmentary School sang both the Canadian and American national anthems before the game started. Our oldest granddaughter, Juliet, is a member of that choir.
Before their performance, they were visited by Slap Shot, the Colorado Eagles mascot.
This was the first time they have sung before such a large crowd and you can see how they did in the short video below.
