Last Hawaii Post

We’re home safe and sound. It was a great trip, especially the time we got to spend with Chris. Here are a few last pictures…

Wednesday night we went to a great little restaurant in Waimea called Red Water Cafe. Chris picked out almost all the restaurants we visited and he did a great job…

When we returned to our hotel at Hapuna Beach it was nice to see it at night. This is Piko’s, a coffee and sushi bar where Chris spent a lot of afternoons and evenings enjoying some quiet time…

A view of the pool area at night…

The next morning Betty and I had our last breakfast brunch together as Chris decided to sleep in…

Then we walked around to see the Koi pond and Betty’s favorite tree, a massive African Flame Tree. That is her tree. You have to look close to see her standing on the steps just to the right of the tree’s trunk.

One last picture at the entrance to the hotel as we wait for our car…

We had our last dinner at the Kona Inn in Kona and afterwards enjoyed sitting by the ocean…

A good ending to a good trip with great memories. Aloha.
