While we were at church this morning, I got a text from our friend, Steve Komadina. He’s the Boy Scout Director who has provided our Icelandic Horse, Morgunn, with a new home and purpose.
The text said Morgunn, along with some of his other horses, was providing rides for kids as part of the Harvest Festival.
So, after church we drove down to where he was providing rides and saw our ‘baby’ doing what he does best… making little kids happy.
Steve told us that Morgunn did great at summer camp this year and spent 8 weeks there. He said hundreds of kids have experienced the joy of hoseback riding with him. That’s what we wanted for him, to have this kind of purpose in his life.
Here’s short video of Morgunn with a small child aboard… and he looks great.
