A Fun Site

I ran across an interesting and fun site on Tuesday. NASA’s site is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Hubble Telescope.

As part of their celebration, they are letting us know what Hubble saw on our birthday. Hubble takes pictures every single day of the year so all you have to do is put in your birth month and day and it will show you a picture it took on that day.

Here’s the link: https://www.nasa.gov/content/goddard/what-did-hubble-see-on-your-birthday

Here’s the picture Hubble took on Betty’s birth day, May 4, the Cat’s Eye Nebula…

The picture on my birthday, August 16, the Andromeda Galaxy…

The picture on Wade Daniel’s birthday, August 13, the planet Neptune…

File written by Adobe Photoshop¨ 5.0

And the picture on Chris’ birthday, August 1, Galaxy NGC 1672…

Check it out. It’s kind of fascinating.
