The Value of a Human Life

Betty and I are pro-life and believe every life, from conception to death, was and is so loved by God that he gave his only son to die for that life.

Watching the movie, ‘The Greatest Showman‘ about P.T. Barnum, caused me to do a little research. In his later years as a politician he changed from the Democratic Party to the Republican party and advocated against slavery.

He’s known for a statement he may or may not have made, “There’s a sucker born every minute.”

However, he definitely said this statement that sums up what we think about human life:

“A human soul, ‘that God has created and Christ died for,’ is not to be trifled with. It may tenant the body of a Chinaman, a Turk, an Arab or a Hottentot – it is still an immortal spirit.”

Well said Mr. Barnum.
