Palm Sunday

Sadly, many of these people crying ‘Hosanna’ on Sunday celebrating Jesus’ arrival on a donkey were the same people crying ‘Crucify Him’ on the coming Friday as he stood with Pilate.

They didn’t understand why Jesus came. Nor, his kingdom, the kingdom of the Spirit, was not what they were hoping for which was an earthly kingdom to kick out the Romans.

We celebrate Palm Sunday because of what we know is coming on Friday and especially on Sunday. Hosanna!
