Several years ago, we took my sister, Jane, and her husband, Hack, to visit Yellowstone National Park as we had been several times. We told them the best time to go was in early May as the animals, especially the bears, would be out of hibernation. Since it was still cold and they were hungry, we could see them all during the day. And, we did.
At Yellowstone, you’ll always see Bison. They’re actually more dangerous than the bears.
Another special view is the South falls of the Yellowstone River. Having the snow made it even more interesting.
As expected, we did see Grizzley bears.
One of the major attractions of Yellowstone is all the geysers.
The most famous geyser is Old Faithful and, as the name implies, it did erupt on a regular schedule.
