It was a tough game and both teams can be proud. Betty and I are proud of all the young men and women in both academies and those of the Air Force and Coast Guard.
But, Navy won – 17 to 16! GO NAVY!
Of course I’m biased. Navy veteran, 1968 – 72.

Traditions are an important part of the military and the academies. For Army it was hard to sing first, but it’s even harder to stand behind Navy while they sing. Tradition builds character.
