An Amazing Night

Sleepy shepherds were awakened from their slumber by a host of angels bringing news of the birth of our Savior. Their message was “Unto you is born this day a Savior.” The message wasn’t to priests, kings, emperors, presidents, or CEOs. God chose the lowliest of the Jewish population to first herald the news. Even today he continues to use the lowly in spirit to bring his kingdom to the world.

While the shepherds were being amazed at their sight, a young girl was bringing the Son of God into this world.

We often fantasize the Nativity, but the event, shared in this song, was probably closer to reality.
