Good News Wednesday

Good News Wednesday

I’m late posting this because we had a great balloon morning with balloons landing close to our house. I’ll have some photos and video tomorrow.

Meanwhile, this is some more fun AI work – when classical paintings come to life.

Balloon Glow

One of the fun things during the Balloon Fiesta is the evening Balloon Glows. Since Betty and I are at the age where we don’t want to face the crowds, we watch it live on TV. I shot this short video off our TV screen so part of it is not sharp, but it’s the best that can be done. The middle of the video is in slow motion.

First Monday In October

Plain coffee, definitely not pumpkin spice …

This must have been an 80s kid …

Makes perfect sense to me …

As long as you keep the Tupperware dish …

Helps to make yourself perfectly clear …

Good question …

Where are the Hobbits …

This is definitely Jessie …

Why is the lion licking his lips …

This problem goes way back …

I’m lucky to be wild until 8:00 PM …

A bar I will stay out of since I’m not a professional …

This was us a month ago when we bought a lot of avocados …

Finally, a good reminder of how we can be truly loyal to our friends and family …

Balloons and Bread

The Balloon Fiesta started yesterday, but unfortunately they couldn’t fly because of high winds. Today, Sunday, they did fly, but went to the East and then North. This means a lot of them flew over and landed on the Sandia Pueblo property.

Later in the morning, I went to our Corrales Growers Market to get some Indian bread from Suzie, our favorite bread maker. We’ve gotten bread from her for probably 20 years. It makes great grilled cheese sandwiches, t,oast including cinnamon toast we like on Saturday mornings. I bought four of the smaller loaves and one of her big muffins for our breakfast tomorrow morning.

I also bought some okra so Betty can make some fried okra.
