Actually this is one of the larger lizards we’ve seen. Most of our lizards, which drive Jessie crazy, are much smaller. I believe this is a Whiptail Lizard. He looks ‘lizard-happy.’

It’s hot here in New Mexico, upper 90s, near 100 some days, but that’s normal for us. Normal or not, it’s still hot. If you’re having a hot summer, here’s some ideas for you to beat the heat.
