Another Monday
Posted on July 14, 2025
I apologize for this Monday photo, but I couldn’t pass it up …

I have to confess this is me. Not because I want to save 1.7 seconds, but just to stand up after sitting for so long …

I am this old and even older. Out first computer was an Apple IIe ,,,

Speaking of getting old, I’m glad this is true. I don’t want to think I’ve outgrown doing stupid things …

I had to read this twice to understand it, but it’s true …

Yep, me …

I guess a little bit of honesty is better than none …

True, true …

I wonder if the store’s name is Cana? …

I love this …

Mingle with the wrong people and this can happen …

I believe God’s word, not evolution, but this is still funny …

Another ‘evolution’ funny …

A serious note. We still pray for Israel and one of the smartest people I know, the late Charles Krauthammer, sums this up very well …

God’s Leading
Posted on July 13, 2025
When I see our Summer thunder clouds, I’m reminded of God’s leading the Nation of Israel in their Exodus. They also remind me that God still leads me today, not necessarily in a cloud, but through his Holy Spirit that lives within me and speaks to my mind and spirit – if I will only listen.

Sunflowers

“Like a sunflower that follows every movement of the sun, so I turn towards you, to follow you, my God.” – John of the Cross
On our main road, Corrales Road, there’s a field filled with sunflowers. They are truly beautiful.

Rose Of Sharon
Posted on July 8, 2025
The name “Rose of Sharon” first appears in Hebrew in the Tanakh. In the Shir Hashirim (‘Song of Songs’) 2:1, the speaker (the beloved) says, “I am the rose of Sharon, a rose of the valley”.
Our Rose of Sharon is starting to put out blooms.
