Cinco DE Mayo

Better keep looking …

Have to watch out what we say around kids …

Good times …

If they could just figure out how to hold a pen with their hoof …

It’s all in how you market it …

Not sure what Dad is teaching, but I bet the kids enjoy it more than math …

This is definitely Betty’s cup and her dream …

When you have cats you don’t have to worry about aliens …

I guess it’s all a matter of perspective …

So true, so true …

Might as well give in. All roads lead to bacon …

The Bob Newhart Show beat them to it …

Finally, some good perspective for your week …

A Gift From God

An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels.
The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain.
(Proverbs 31:10-11)

Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.”
(Proverbs 31:28-29)

Happiest of birthdays to my excellent wife. I love you Betty, more every day, and you are blessed by me and your sons.

Spring Winds

I recently posted about our New Mexico Spring winds, referring to the song, “They Called The Wind Mariah.” This past Sunday we had even more winds.

Good News Wednesday

Golden Retrievers are great parents.

But they are terrible guard dogs.

Windy Finches And A Curve Bill Thrash

A male and female Finch ride the feeder on a very windy afternoon.

We also have this unique bird called a Curve Bill Thrash. You can see why he has this name.

He uses that large bill to thrash our seeds out of the feeder. At least that feeds the Gambel Quail that are ground-feeders.
