Some good news for us is we were present at our granddaughter, Juliet’s high school graduation last Friday night. She graduated from Liberty Common, a charter school that specializes in a classical education.

Before the ceremony, they had a slide show of pictures for each senior. She wore a red key representing the fact that she started at Liberty Common as a kindergartner and finished as a graduating senior. She also wore a yellow cord since she graduated with honors. Juliet was also a member of the choir that sang at the graduation. When each senior received their diploma, a kindergartener escorted them to the stage front for applause and an official photo. It was a great night.
One thing I loved. At the beginning, they walked in with the American flag and we all stood and said the Pledge of Allegiance. It brought tears to my old eyes.
Juliet will attend Colorado State University (Go Rams!) in the Fall.
Congratulations all around!!
