We MUST Never Forget

It’s been 25 years which is hard to imagine. Over time, it’s easy to forget the horror of that day, the many people who died, and the evil men who perpetrated this horror. That evil still exists and is a threat to all we cherish and love.

Yet, to offset that evil, there were many heroes and heroines, all the first responders, victims who gave their lives trying to save others, the passengers on Flight 93 who prevented a plane from probably flying into the White House, too many more to number and many we will never know about.

No evil can kill the soul of our country if we are willing to stand and fight that evil.

I mentioned in a previous post about a great organization that does wondrous work for gold star families, wounded warriors, wounded first responders, and homeless veterans – Tunnel to Towers.

Betty and I support them for only $11/month because of the good work they do and because we don’t want to forget.

The message from Tunnel to Towers is one we all should remember, “Let us do good.”

And the Bible also said it well, “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13)
