Some pleasant memories of our Thanksgiving with our Colorado kids and granddaughters.

First Monday In December

A leftover from last Black Friday …

This is definitely me …

True of many dogs …

Only need a few minutes …

Always fun to eat out …

Think about it …

Another to think about …

One more ‘When We Were Kids’ …

At 80, this is my workout routine …

The way I feel some mornings …

Makes waiting on those calls all the more worthwhile …

Look closely …

When you find out you’re not one of a kind …

He got his wife from Acme …

Jessie And Luna’s Morning
Posted on November 28, 2025
Our Fort Collins, Colorado kids and grandkids are here for Thanksgiving. They brought their dog, Luna. Thanksgiving morning the dogs went out together. First, Jessie did her morning roll in the sand. Then, they decided to bark at some of the dogs up the street. Finally, on our hot tub cover, covered with frost, Jessie did some personal grooming while Luna supervised.
Give Thanks And Rejoice

“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”(Philippians 4:4-7)

Thanksgiving is a time to get together with loved ones to give thanks to God for all his blessings and to share some great food as in the classic Norman Rockwell painting above.
It’s also a time for fun. For some, that’s watching football after your meal or sharing precious family memories. It may be also a time to remember those who are no longer with us.
For others it’s remembering one of the greatest Thanksgiving classics.
And even our Finches had a Thanksgiving feast, but they’re not great at sharing.
Betty and I hope everyone has a blessed and joy-filled Thanksgiving and, don’t forget, watch out for falling, frozen turkeys.

Dogs and snow. Jessie loves the snow, but we don’t have snow very often.
